Recently, the Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW) has conducted operations leading to the arrest of eight individuals across the nation. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that these arrests are linked to suspicions of planning sabotage.
“The security agency, in collaboration with other services, apprehended individuals who may be involved in sabotage actions. The investigation is ongoing,” Tusk wrote on his social media.
Tomasz Siemoniak, the Minister coordinating special services, clarified that the arrested individuals were monitoring military sites and critical infrastructure, preparing resources for potential attacks.
He also noted that the ABW is working closely with military counterintelligence, the police, and the prosecutor's office on this matter.
