The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released new footage from the January operation of the «Revenge» group in Stepnohirs'k, Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the intelligence press service.
The video shows the work of the assault company «Advanced», which identified enemy positions and destroyed their shelters and personnel.
«The defensive operation in the Zaporizhzhia direction continues.
The enemy, who previously managed to breach the front lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, could not establish themselves at new positions to encircle Stepnohirs'k. The «Revenge» tactical group of the International Legion received orders to eliminate the remnants of the enemy grouping in the vicinity of the settlement.
Objective: conduct reconnaissance, identify the enemy, destroy fortifications with explosives, retreat to a safe zone to minimize losses», the report states.
As noted, regular fire strikes and raids by Ukrainian groups have exhausted the Russians, who did not receive reinforcements. However, the enemy continues to actively use FPV and artillery to support their front-line forces.
At the end of January, soldiers from the «Ghosts» special unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine hit four expensive Russian air defense systems.
