Defense Forces Neutralize 103 Drones in Recent Attack

The air defense forces managed to neutralize 103 out of 146 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the evening of January 27.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 6 PM on Tuesday, January 27, the enemy launched a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" from the Rostov region, as well as 146 strike drones of the Shahed type, "Herbera", "Italmas", and other types of drones from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), Chauda, and Hvardijske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 90 drones were of the Shahed type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9 AM on Wednesday, January 28, the air defense had downed or suppressed 103 drones in the north, south, center, and east of Ukraine.
There were confirmed strikes of the ballistic missile and 36 strike drones in 22 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
In the Kyiv region, as a result of the Russian drone attack on January 28, a woman and a man were killed, and four others were injured, including two children.
