On the night of January 20, air defense units successfully targeted 342 enemy objects. This included 14 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles, 13 X-101 cruise missiles, and 315 drones. The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported this on Telegram.
"As of 10:00 AM, our air defense has downed 342 objects: 14 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles, 13 X-101 cruise missiles, and 315 enemy drones of types such as Shahed and Gerbera attacking from the north, south, east, and central regions of the country," the message states.
There were also confirmed hits from 5 missiles and 24 strike drones in 11 locations, with debris from downed drones landing in 12 areas. Information on two enemy missiles is being clarified.
The press service also specified that the enemy attacked with one anti-ship missile “Zircon” (from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea), 18 ballistic missiles “Iskander-M/S-300” (from the Bryansk and Rostov regions of Russia), 15 X-101 cruise missiles (from the Vologda region of Russia), and 339 strike drones of types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and others from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, Bryansk – Russia, Hvardiyiske, Chauda – temporarily occupied Crimea, and temporarily occupied Donetsk, with about 250 of them being “Shaheds”.
The main strike direction was Kyiv region, the Air Force confirmed.
