The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully neutralized 93 drones launched by Russian troops in an attack against Ukraine. Strikes were recorded at ten different locations. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
On the night of October 29 (from 19:00 on October 28), the enemy launched 126 strike drones, including Shaheds, Gerbers, and other types from directions such as Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Donetsk, Chauda, and Hvardiyiske – temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Approximately 80 of these drones were "Shahed" types.
Air defense, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces actively participated in repelling the aerial assault.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense managed to shoot down 93 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerber, and other types in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
Strikes from 32 attack drones were recorded at 10 different locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
