On the night of October 27-28, a new large-scale attack by Russian forces damaged gas production facilities of the NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in the Poltava region. This was reported by Sergiy Koretskyi, the chairman of the company.
"This month, we have recorded seven large-scale attacks. Last night, we experienced another that harmed our production capacities in Poltava," he stated.
Koretskyi emphasized that the gas workers are committed to restoring the facility as quickly as possible.
He also noted that due to the attacks in October, there are losses in gas production, prompting Naftogaz to develop new strategies for securing additional imports of "blue fuel."
