The air defense forces managed to neutralize 54 out of 78 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine on the evening of October 10. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 8:00 PM on Friday, October 10, the enemy launched 78 strike drones, including Shahed, 'Gerbera', and others, from the directions of: Orel, Millerovo, Kursk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 40 of these were of the Shahed type.
The assault was repelled by electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM Saturday, October 11, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down 54 enemy drones in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of Ukraine.
Hits from 21 strike drones were recorded at six locations. The attack continues, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
