In the night of October 12, Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 103 out of 118 drones used by the aggressor in an attack. This information was shared by the Air Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting from the evening of October 11, the enemy launched an assault with 118 strike drones of the Shahed type, along with various types of decoy drones from directions including Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Hvardiyiske – temporarily occupied Crimea, with around 50 of them being Shahed drones. They also used an X-31 guided missile from the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, preliminary data indicates that 103 enemy drones were either destroyed or suppressed in the north, east, and south of the country.
There were hits recorded of one missile and 15 strike drones across 10 locations.
"The attack is ongoing – new groups of strike drones have entered from the north and east. Please remain cautious!" the Air Forces added.
