Special Forces Operations: Successful Strikes Against Enemy Targets in Crimea

image

The special forces of GUR continue to target military installations of the occupiers in Crimea.

This has been reported by GUR.

Another successful operation by the GUR of Ukraine’s special forces unit “Phantoms” in the temporarily occupied Crimea: drones effectively struck a Russian military airbase in Hvardiiske, near Simferopol, successfully destroying two enemy Mi-8 helicopters. The estimated cost of the knocked-out helicopters is between 20 to 30 million dollars. A similar unfortunate fate befell the Russian military tugboat, likely BUС-2190, in Sevastopol Bay — during an airstrike against the invaders, Ukrainian scouts directed a corresponding warhead at the vessel. The tugboat is part of the so-called “PDSS” (underwater sabotage forces). This unit consists of highly trained diver-scouts, whose training involves significant financial and time investments, as well as top-notch equipment. The destruction of the tugboat substantially limits the combat capabilities of this elite Russian unit.
