The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 76 out of 86 drones used by aggressors to attack the country on the evening of August 31.

This was reported by the Air Force through their Telegram channel.

Starting from 8:30 PM on Sunday, August 31, Russian forces launched an attack deploying 86 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 9:00 AM on Monday, September 1, preliminary data indicates that air defense systems shot down 76 Shahed-type UAVs and imitation drones across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
