On the night of August 24, the Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 48 Russian drones and recorded hits from enemy UAVs and a ballistic missile at ten locations.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to military sources, from 10:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, Russian forces launched one ballistic missile «Iskander-M» and 72 drones, including strike types like Shahed and various imitator UAVs.

The missile was launched from the area of the Russian city of Taganrog, while drones were launched from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The attacking forces were countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.

As of 8:30 AM on Sunday, August 24, air defense had shot down/jammed 48 Russian Shahed-type drones and imitators across the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the country.

Hits from the missile and 24 enemy drones were recorded at ten locations.
