The air defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 76 out of 104 drones launched by Russian troops during their attack on the evening of August 24.

Starting from 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, Russian forces deployed 104 strike drones of the Shahed type and other imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces. Preliminary data as of 8:00 AM on Monday, August 25, shows that the air defense forces shot down/neutralized 76 enemy Shahed drones and imitation drones in northern and eastern Ukraine. Hits were recorded from 28 drones across 15 locations, with debris falling in four areas.
