Ukraine's air defense forces have successfully neutralized 546 Russian drones, one Kinzhal air-to-surface missile, 18 X-101 cruise missiles, and 12 Kalibr missiles.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a recent Telegram post.

Since 18:40 on Wednesday, August 20, the enemy has attacked Ukraine with 614 air assault means:

574 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), as well as Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea);

four Kinzhal hypersonic missiles from the airspace of Lipetsk and Voronezh regions;

two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh region;

19 X-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of Saratov region;

14 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea;

one unidentified missile from Crimea.

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, UAV systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.

As of 09:00 on Thursday, August 21, air defense has intercepted/neutralized 577 aerial targets:

• 546 drones;
• one Kinzhal hypersonic missile;
• 18 X-101 cruise missiles;
• 12 Kalibr cruise missiles.

Impacts of missiles and strike drones were recorded at 11 locations, with debris falling at three sites.
