Mass Drone Attack on Okhtyrka: 14 Injured Including Children

On the night of August 20, 14 individuals, including three children, were injured in Okhtyrka, Sumy region, due to a mass drone strike.

This was reported by the National Police and the Sumy Prosecutor's Office via Telegram.

According to law enforcement, "the enemy launched a massive drone attack on the city of Okhtyrka… As a result of the strike, 12 people were injured, including two children. A multi-story building, 13 private homes, an outbuilding, and a garage were damaged."

Investigative teams and police explosives experts are currently working at the impact sites.

"Criminal proceedings have been initiated for all incidents under Article 438 (war crimes)", – noted law enforcement officials.

Later, the Sumy Prosecutor's Office added that the Russians targeted the private sector in Okhtyrka from 00:05 to 00:18, using a total of 15 drones.

"14 people sought medical assistance, including a family with three children: a 5-month-old, a 4-year-old, and a 6-year-old boy. At least 13 houses were damaged or destroyed," – stated the Prosecutor's Office.
