In the night of August 14th, Ukrainian forces faced a new onslaught from Russian troops, employing 2 S-300/400 guided missiles and 45 Shahed drones along with various other drone types.

This information was confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.

The strike drones targeted frontline areas in Donetsk and Chernihiv regions, while missiles struck locations in Sumy.

As of 9:00 AM, initial reports indicate that Ukrainian air defense shot down 24 enemy Shahed drones and imitators in the northern and eastern parts of the country.

Confirmed hits included 21 drones at 12 different sites.

The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
