Night Defense: Ukrainian Forces Neutralize Enemy Drones

In the night of August 6, Ukrainian defense forces successfully neutralized 36 Russian drones in the skies over the country, with nine enemy targets confirmed hit at three different locations. 

This information was released by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via their Telegram channel.

According to military reports, from 20:30 on August 5, Russian invaders launched a total of 45 Shahed strike drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles from their cities of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Defensive actions were carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 09:00 on Wednesday, it was confirmed that air defense had shot down or jammed 36 enemy drones of the Shahed type and other types in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

In addition to the hits on nine UAVs at three locations, debris from the downed targets was also recorded at one site.
