Starting from the evening of July 20, Ukraine faced a new assault from Russian forces, launching 24 rockets and 426 drones, including Shahed modifications. All rockets were successfully intercepted.

This information was reported by the Ukrainian Air Forces via Telegram.

According to the report: "As of 9:30 AM, our air defense has destroyed/neutralized 224 enemy aerial objects: including 200 strike drones of the Shahed type. The majority of rockets were destroyed by firepower, while the rest were suppressed by EW or lost in location (no hit information has been received)".

Details: another 203 mimicking drones did not reach their targets, as they were locally lost (possibly suppressed by EW).

"A total of 23 hits from strike drones were recorded in 3 locations, and the downed drones fell in 12 locations", – stated the Air Forces.

Among the missiles launched at Ukraine were:

5 air-launched ballistic missiles X-47 M2 "Kinzhal" (from the airspace of the Tambov region of the Russian Federation);

4 cruise missiles "Kalibr" (from the Black Sea area);

1 cruise missile Iskander-K (from the vicinity of the city of Millerovo, Russia);

14 cruise missiles X-101 (from the airspace of the Saratov region of Russia).

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and drones, along with mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The Air Forces emphasize that the attack continues – as of 9:30 AM, a new group of Russian drones entered from the northern direction.
