Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of automated parcel terminals. According to the company's statement, the first 100 units will be installed by the end of this year.
Initially, only residents of Kyiv, where 70 terminals will be set up, and Odesa, which will have 30 units, will be able to use the service. The company stated that it aims to expand the network throughout Ukraine by 2026.
Parcels can be collected using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is now available on the App Store and Google Pay.
According to the announcement, Ukrposhta's parcel terminals have been designed with enhanced security standards and are capable of operating autonomously, even without electricity or connectivity.
