Memorial Tribute to Andriy Parubiy in Lviv

On October 7th, a memorial plaque was inaugurated in Lviv in memory of Andriy Parubiy, as reported by MP Oleg Sinyutka on Facebook.

«Today, the father and daughter of Andriy Parubiy unveiled a memorial plaque on Efremova Street. Andriy Parubiy was a true Hero of Ukraine, a man of honor and dignity, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation, a member of parliament, as well as the commander of the Orange Revolution and organizer of the Self-Defense during the Revolution of Dignity», - he wrote.

Sinyutka also noted that October 8 marks 40 days since the death of Andriy Parubiy. Tomorrow at 11:00, there will be a joint prayer at the Archcathedral of St. George in Lviv, and at 16:30 - an evening of remembrance in the large session hall of the Lviv Regional Council.

It is worth mentioning that President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded Andriy Parubiy, Hennadiy Afanasiev, Stepan Chubenko, and Volodymyr Vakulenko the title of Hero of Ukraine for their defense of the idea of Ukraine.
