On Defender's Day, foreign diplomats and embassies in Ukraine convey their respects and honor the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers.

The Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine, Masashi Nakagome, expressed his appreciation for the Ukrainian defenders: «Dear defenders, your courage is unparalleled; you are the true heroes of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!».
Colonel of the German General Staff Thorsen Friz extended greetings to Ukrainian soldiers, noting their determination is deeply inspiring.  «Every meeting with you motivates us to provide the best support possible».
The acting Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom, Charlotte Suren, also thanked all Ukrainians for their resilience against aggression.
Ambassador of Estonia in Ukraine, Anneli Kolk, expressed her respect, while the Canadian Embassy thanked all defenders for their courage in protecting their homeland. The Swedish Embassy highlighted its pride in standing with Ukraine.
