On the evening of Sunday, September 28, an earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in the city of Stryi in the Lviv region. This information was shared by the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration on Facebook.
"The earthquake occurred at 21:47. The Main Center for Special Control registered it in the Stryi area," the statement said.
This tremor is classified as imperceptible to the population. Its epicenter was located at a depth of 4 km.
Meanwhile, in the western province of Kutahya in Turkey, a series of underground shocks occurred, with the strongest reaching 5.4 on the Richter scale. As of 9 AM on September 29, at least 250 aftershocks ranging from 1 to 4.5 were recorded.
