This past weekend, an extraordinary sport festival named ‘Strong Nation’ was held in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. This event exemplified how sports can unite and inspire people, enhancing community spirit.

Taras Kryvoruchko, a member of the Kyiv City Council from the ‘European Solidarity’ faction, who also participated in the event, shared his impressions and expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants for this unforgettable experience.

“Hundreds gathered together, and the air was filled with a spirit of freedom and unity. Athletes trained vigorously, sharing energy and inspiration. In various sports masterclasses, everyone found something for themselves, while tactical medicine lessons and introductions to modern military technologies reminded us of the importance of being prepared for anything in today’s world.

Before the start, attendees were entertained by performances from well-known Ukrainian artists, and children joyfully joined in the 1 and 3-kilometer runs. Each participant received a commemorative medal ‘Strong Nation.’ “Together, we demonstrated that Ukraine is our strength, our spirit, and our faith in victory!” — Taras Kryvoruchko emphasized.

According to him, the youth were particularly impressive — their enthusiasm and determination left no one indifferent.

“This is what our country needs: strong, confident young people. Active individuals drive life forward,” — the deputy stressed.

Olexiy Parashchenko, the director of the Center for Physical and Patriotic Education ‘Strong Nation,’ also shared his thoughts on the festival.

“This event provided a fantastic platform for promoting physical culture and patriotism among the youth. We aim to raise a new generation that will be not only physically strong but also morally resilient. The festival is an opportunity for the youth to showcase their strength and solidarity, as well as to express their readiness to act for the good of their country,” — Olexiy Parashchenko stated.

He emphasized the significance of such events, noting that the ‘Strong Nation’ race is not just a sports competition, but also a chance to unite people around shared values.
