Russia shows an unwillingness to engage in peace negotiations, openly mocking the efforts of the international community.
This was stated by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko in a Facebook post.
"Together with Ihor Klymenko and Andrii Sybiha, we informed 60 heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine about the consequences of one of the largest airstrikes by Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. We showcased the damage inflicted by the attack on the Cabinet of Ministers building. Currently, efforts are being made to address the aftermath, and soon restoration work on the roof will begin," she noted.
Svyrydenko emphasized that for Ukraine, this attack signifies a new phase in the war, as the enemy has effectively doubled the number of drones targeting civilians and energy infrastructure ahead of winter.
"This is a clear signal that Russia is not interested in peace and is ridiculing diplomatic efforts. This is an existential war. Among the casualties yesterday were a two-year-old child and a young mother. The Russians are killing our children, and thus our future," she stressed.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to all diplomats, noting that their presence in Ukraine this morning is a sign of support in the struggle for the existence of the state.
