In Lviv, the community is bidding farewell to Andriy Parubiy, a significant figure in Ukrainian politics, who was tragically killed on August 30.

The funeral rites commenced at 12:00 in the Archcathedral of St. George. People began gathering at the church grounds more than an hour before the event started. Family, colleagues, party members, friends, and residents of Lviv came to pay their respects.

At 13:30, a citywide farewell ceremony will take place in Rynok Square. The politician will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.
