A 45-year-old man carried out a shooting at the regional psychiatric hospital in Ternopil.

According to the press service, on Monday, August 25, around 11:30 AM, the Ternopil District Police received a report of a shooting at the hospital. Patrol officers found the offender, a 45-year-old resident of Ternopil, at the scene. During a preliminary check, a device resembling a starting pistol was confiscated from him. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries during the incident. Police are currently on site, gathering witness accounts to clarify the circumstances of the event. The question of holding the offender accountable for vandalism is being considered.
