During the session, participants discussed draft resolutions for the upcoming Forum, including the «Resolution of the 1st Kyiv Forum of Public Associations for Older People» and «Appeal to Government Authorities». These documents will be refined based on the suggestions provided during the discussion.
Additionally, a decision was made to develop a Memorandum of Cooperation between veteran organizations and other associations for older citizens, aimed for discussion and potential signing during the Forum.
The Kyiv City Organization of Veterans of Ukraine, with support from the Department of Social and Veteran Policy of the Kyiv City Council, is the organizer of the 1st Kyiv Forum. The aim of the Forum is to unite the efforts of veteran organizations to strengthen their role in public life and shape policies that meet the needs of the elderly population.
