The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another Russian informant in Mykolaiv. The arrested individual, a 45-year-old local man, was involved in directing missile and drone strikes against the port city. According to SBU cyber specialists, he was in contact with an agent named Sergey Lebedev (alias «Lohmatyy»), who is hiding in Donetsk and simultaneously works for the FSB and the Russian military intelligence. Following instructions from «Lohmatyy», his accomplice was preparing a new series of airstrikes on the regional center.

The informant was documented traveling around the city to identify and report the coordinates of Ukrainian military concentrations to the occupiers. He transmitted data to his curator using online maps and deleted all communication after each session. However, this did not help him.

SBU officers detained the suspect at his residence while simultaneously taking measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces from enemy intelligence activities. During searches, a phone containing evidence of his subversive activities in favor of the aggressor was seized.

The investigators of the Security Service notified him of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement and deployment of the Armed Forces in a state of martial law).

The suspect is currently in custody without the right to bail and faces up to 12 years in prison. The comprehensive measures were conducted by SBU employees in the Mykolaiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
