Security operations are underway in the Desnyansky District of Kyiv.

The Security Service of Ukraine, along with the National Police and other defense units, is carrying out scheduled security operations in the Desnyansky District.

The primary goal of these operations is to assess the anti-terrorism (counter-diversion) measures in places where people gather.

During these operations, law enforcement authorities:

• inspect areas and individual buildings (residential premises, offices, common areas in apartment buildings, service establishments, etc.) to detect prohibited items;
• check citizens present in the area;
• examine the level of anti-terrorism (counter-diversion) protection of local facilities.
• All operations will be conducted in accordance with the legal regime of martial law.

During these operations, there may be restrictions on access and movement on city streets, document checks for citizens, and vehicle inspections.

The SBU urges people to understand the potential inconveniences and respond appropriately to lawful actions and requests from law enforcement.

Additionally, individuals are advised to carry identification documents and adhere to the curfew regulations.

The Security Service emphasizes its commitment to legality and the constitutional inviolability of citizens' rights and freedoms in its activities.
