The Verkhovna Rada has voted for the resignation of Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal after his five-year tenure in office.

This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak from the "Golos" faction on social media.

 A total of 261 MPs voted in favor of the corresponding resolution.
