The Ukrainian government has implemented new restrictions against Sergey Arbuzov, the former head of the National Bank, and Andriy Klyuyev, the ex-head of the presidential administration.

This decision was made by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and enacted by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Businessmen Viktor Polishchuk and Alona Shevtsova are also included in the sanctions list.

The sanctions target individuals who held high positions during Viktor Yanukovych's presidency, including Arbuzov and Klyuyev.

Restrictions are also applied to Viktor Polishchuk, known for his "Eldorado" appliance chain and the "Gulliver" shopping mall.

The imposed sanctions entail a ban on business operations, asset freezes, and revocation of state awards.

The decree takes effect from the date of its publication.

Zelensky has also announced sanctions against Kremlin propagandists.

This week, the president introduced restrictions against the shadow fleet of the Russian Federation, as well as against 71 individuals and 18 propaganda media outlets.

The measures include asset blocking, trade restrictions, and limitations on media activities in Ukraine.
