Defenders and defenderesses of Ukraine now have priority in selecting the date and time for marriage through the "Diia" platform.
This was reported by the portal's press service.
"Due to the high demand for online marriage through "Diia", priority registration has been launched for military personnel", the announcement states.
For those serving in the Armed Forces and wishing to marry online, you need to:
open the Army+ app;
go to the Services section;
select Online Marriage.
After that, you will be directed to "Diia", where the system will show available dates considering the priority and provide a separate entry for online marriage registration. Next, fill out the application, choose whether to change your last name after marriage, indicate where to send the marriage certificate, and confirm everything with Diia.Signature.
"On the day of the marriage registration, access the link in "Diia" for the online ceremony, where a representative of the Digital Registry Office will be waiting for you. The marriage process lasts up to 30 minutes. All you need is a smartphone and internet", they informed in "Diia".
It is noted that over 4,000 couples have officially married online, about 19,000 have applied, and more than 2 million have proposed through "Diia".
