The Ukrainian national football team has achieved its second consecutive victory in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. In the fourth round of the qualification, the 'blue and yellows' defeated Azerbaijan with a score of 2:1.
Goals were scored by Oleksiy Hutsuliak and Ruslan Malinovskyi.
Previously, in the third round, Ukraine triumphed over Iceland with a final score of 5:3.
After four matches, Ukraine has accumulated seven points, placing them second in the group, just behind France.
The next matches for the 'blue and yellows' will be against France on November 13 and against Iceland on November 16.
