Ivan Shamardin Joins Kyiv Capitals: A New Journey

21-year-old Ukrainian defender Ivan Shamardin has become a player for the Kyiv Capitals, the vice-champions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the club's press service.
Ivan is a product of Kharkiv hockey and began his career at Rulav Odd. He later played for the Hungarian DVTK Jegesmedvek, Polish UHT Sabers, and Italian Alleghe, where he scored 11 points (2+9) in the 2024/2025 season. Shamardin has also participated in matches for Ukraine's youth and junior national teams.
It is worth noting that the team has decided to participate in the open championship of Latvia next season, as previously announced by the club's manager. Kyiv Capitals has already established its coaching staff.
