Ukrainian Team Shines at World Para Fencing Championship

The Ukrainian national wheelchair fencing team, consisting of 13 athletes, delivered an impressive performance at the World Para Fencing Championship held from September 2 to 7 in Iksan, South Korea. With participation from 28 countries, Ukraine secured 7 medals: 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze, claiming third place overall!

On the penultimate day, Olena Fedota-Isayeva secured gold in the women's sabre category B, while Oleg Naumenko won bronze in the men's épée category B, concluding the championship with a triumphant note for Ukraine.

Eight athletes return home with high honors, four of whom are multiple medalists.
