The Ukraine national team achieved a significant victory against Romania, wrapping up the main qualifying round for Euro-2026.
The match, held at the "Hala widowiskowo sportowa" in Koszalin, Poland, ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Ukrainian team.
The guests took the lead after a mistake from the Ukrainians – Mykytiuk inadvertently assisted Mani, who struck powerfully from close range. The Ukrainians responded quickly with an elegant back-heeled goal by Artem Farenyuk.
In the second half, Nazar Shved put Ukraine ahead with a precise shot following a pass from Mykytiuk. Subsequently, Rostyslav Semenchenko doubled the advantage, scoring into an empty net from Abakshin's assist.
