In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, students and young leaders participated in an event titled «Model UN», where they discussed global economic challenges.

This event was organized by the Kyiv City Youth Council along with the student academic council of the Faculty of International Economics and Management at KNEU named after Vadym Hetman, with the support of Kyiv City Council member Yulia Yarmolenko.

Yulia Yarmolenko emphasized, «This event was dedicated to discussing the role of UN member states in overcoming economic crises. The world is changing rapidly, and youth must learn to make decisions in unstable conditions. Participants not only gain a deeper understanding of international processes but also develop negotiation skills and the ability to find compromises. They learn to advocate for their country's interests, which is crucial for their future careers. This is how we nurture a generation of strong and aware leaders for Ukraine.»

The initiator of the event, Volodymyr Serebriansky, a member of the Kyiv City Youth Council, stated, «This is not just an educational project, but a platform where true ideas are born, and the ability to see the world more broadly is formed. We aimed to create an environment where every student could try their hand at being a diplomat, develop analytical thinking, and better understand the complexities of international processes. We believe that our youth will be the ones to change Ukraine and the world for the better.»
