Following a significant meeting of the "Decisive Coalition," President Volodymyr Zelensky and leaders from Germany, France, Poland, and the UK held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump.

Details: Sybiha reported that on May 10, after the coalition meeting in Kyiv, all five leaders – Volodymyr Zelensky, Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz, Donald Tusk, and Keir Starmer – had a productive phone call with Trump regarding peace efforts.

"Ukraine and all allies are ready for a complete unconditional ceasefire on land, air, and sea for at least 30 days, starting on Monday," emphasized the Ukrainian minister.

He stated that if Russia agrees and effective monitoring is ensured, a long-term ceasefire and confidence-building measures could pave the way for peace negotiations.

As known, the leaders of France, Germany, Poland, and the UK called on Russia for a 30-day ceasefire in a statement issued before the four leaders' arrival in Kyiv.

Trump, after speaking with Zelensky on May 8, stated that ideally he would like an unconditional 30-day truce.

Recently, Reuters reported that the United States, along with European allies, is working on a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

The agency claimed that the proposal for a 30-day ceasefire has not yet been approved and will be discussed during the "Decisive Coalition" summit taking place in Ukraine.
