On April 15, World Art Day, a ceremonial presentation of the new commemorative coin "The World of Couture Art. Lyubov Panchenko" took place, honoring the outstanding artist and designer, a prominent figure of the sixties.
This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
The coin "The World of Couture Art. Lyubov Panchenko" has a denomination of 10 hryvnias. It is made of 925 silver, with a minting quality category of "special uncirculated", and contains 31.1 g of pure precious metal, with a diameter of 38.6 mm. The edge of the coin is smooth, featuring recessed inscriptions indicating the metal, its standard, and the logo of the Banknote and Minting Factory.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized portrait of Lyubov Panchenko, framed by elements of her famous work "Buchanskaya Spring".
The artist's gaze, filled with creative energy and freedom, seems to transcend time and space, symbolizing strength and devotion to ideals. The composition emphasizes the deep connection of the artist with her homeland.
"Buchanskaya Spring" is not just a painting, but a manifesto of beauty and resilience, as it was in Bucha where the artist was born and lived. This image has forever etched itself in the memory of the city and in the hearts of the admirers of her talent, becoming a symbol of hope for revival.
The artist is Andriy Sahach. The sculptor is Volodymyr Dmyanenko.
