This initiative aims to ensure convenience and comfort for families with young children.

Children's Carriage on the Chisinau Route: Key Features

One of the main advantages of this carriage is its specialized equipment designed to guarantee safety and comfort for young travelers. The carriage will feature ramps for strollers, playpens, changing tables, and hypoallergenic bedding. Additionally, entertainment and special children’s menus will enhance the travel experience. The carriage meets all international travel standards.

This carriage is suitable for families with children of all ages, but is especially designed for infants and children up to 8 years old. Upon boarding, young passengers will receive wristbands indicating their compartment and parental contact information. The corridor will feature interactive elements and soft handrails to ensure children's safety. The carriage's design incorporates materials developed with UNICEF’s support.

The children's carriage will operate as part of train No. 351/352, departing from Kyiv at 5:05 PM and arriving in Chisinau at 11:30 AM the next day. In the reverse direction, the train leaves Chisinau at 5:34 PM and arrives in Kyiv at 12:20 PM. To purchase tickets for this carriage, look for the label “Children's Carriage”. Ticket prices may vary, so it is recommended to check the cost before buying. Ticket sales are already open.

This initiative by “Ukrzaliznytsia” demonstrates the company's commitment to continuously improving service quality, especially for families with children who require special attention and comfort during their travels. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in 2023, over 2.5 million mothers with children crossed the border, indicating a significant demand for comfortable travel conditions for this passenger category.
