On December 1st, to commemorate World AIDS Day, an informational and preventive campaign will take place in Kyiv, where everyone will have the opportunity to undergo free and anonymous HIV testing, as well as testing for hepatitis B and C.

This was announced by the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The campaign will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During testing, participants will also receive consultations from specialists on prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, and modern treatment options.

The Department emphasizes that Kyiv continues to fulfill its commitments under the international Fast-Track Cities initiative aimed at combating the HIV epidemic in major cities worldwide. One of the key indicators of the program is the availability of early testing, which allows for timely detection of the virus and quick initiation of treatment.

The event is organized by the Kyiv City Center for HIV Prevention and Treatment, with support from the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.
