In the Makaryv community, work is underway to restore a crucial transport bridge that connects various settlements in the region.
The capital repair of the bridge on the T-10-19 highway, which was damaged during military actions in 2022, is currently in progress. This facility serves as a backbone of the transport infrastructure not only for Makaryv but also for the entire Kyiv region.
According to the Makaryv village council, current activities include reinforcement and concreting of the girder of the intermediate support No. 1, preparation for the concreting of the girder of the end support No. 4, and assembly of scaffolding near the intermediate support No. 2.
Previously, preparatory work such as pile installation, drainage system setup, foundation preparation for scaffolding, earthworks, and soil compaction have been completed, along with the establishment of a site for new bridge structures.
The repair funding is sourced from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The works are being carried out by the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
The restoration of this critical object will ensure safe and rapid movement between communities in the Kyiv region and enhance the region's transport connectivity.
