The memory of former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, who was killed in an armed attack on August 30, will be honored at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv on September 2.

This was announced by Lviv's mayor Andriy Sadovyi via Telegram.

According to city officials, on Monday, September 1, at 7:00 PM, a memorial service will be held at the Archcathedral of St. George.

On Tuesday, September 2, at 12:00 PM, the funeral service will begin at St. George's Cathedral.

A citywide farewell will take place at Rynok Square, near the City Hall, around 1:30 PM.

Andriy Parubiy will be laid to rest at the Lychakiv Cemetery.
