Today, a significant new medical facility, the «Human Titans» Prosthetic Center, has opened in Kyiv, dedicated to assisting wounded soldiers and civilians requiring modern prosthetic solutions and rehabilitation.

The initiative was launched by Kyiv's mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, who shared that the idea emerged during his visit to Berlin two years ago, where he toured a Bundeswehr military hospital.

The project was made possible through the support of Berlin's mayor Kai Wegner, along with Life Bridge Ukraine and ONUR GROUP Ukraine.

ONUR GROUP Ukraine covered a substantial portion of the renovation costs, exceeding 29 million UAH, while the city budget contributed 11.2 million UAH.

Equipment supplied by Life Bridge Ukraine began being implemented in June, and the center's specialists have already started producing prosthetics, equipped with a 3D scanner for crafting high-precision components.

«During the initial testing phase, 10 veterans from various regions of Ukraine received prosthetics,» Klitschko noted. «Six prosthetists from the center have trained in Berlin, and around 60 Ukrainian soldiers with amputations have received prosthetic fittings at the Bundeswehr hospital.»

The mayor expressed gratitude to his colleagues in Berlin, especially Kai Wegner and the Life Bridge Ukraine team, for their assistance in realizing this significant endeavor.
