The Ministry of Defense has developed new solutions that will significantly speed up the preparation of documents for awarding military personnel for their combat achievements.

This information was announced by the Ministry of Defense's press service.

«The Ministry of Defense has created a new mechanism to optimize processes. The military unit will send award documents to its respective military authority. From there, they will be submitted directly for review to the leadership of the Armed Forces. Each instance will have no more than two days to review. Subsequently, the documents will be forwarded to the President's Office. The entire process will take between 8 to 16 days», - the statement reads.

Previously, this procedure took between 3 to 8 months due to the need to pass through multiple levels and approvals. Moreover, some documents were prepared manually.

The Ministry of Defense also mentioned that they are currently considering the possibility of displaying the state award certificate in the Diia online system. These proposals will be sent to the relevant authorities for further processing.
