Starting August 14, new traffic rules regarding the reverse system will be implemented in Kyiv as part of an experimental project in collaboration with the Patrol Police.

These changes are due to the ongoing bridge repairs that significantly slow down traffic. This information comes from the Department of Transportation Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration.

Schedule for the reverse operation:

• In the morning, there will be 3 lanes operating from the left bank to the right bank, with 1 lane in the opposite direction;
• Approximately from 2 PM, 3 lanes will operate towards the left bank and 1 towards the right bank;
• During weekends, there will be 2 lanes in each direction.

Police crews will monitor the new traffic regime during the initial days.

The department urges drivers to pay close attention to road signs, adhere to traffic regulations, and plan their routes considering these changes.
