Salute to Ukrainian signal troops! Every year on August 8, Ukraine celebrates Signal Corps Day.

In today’s technological warfare, intelligence operations are unimaginable without the efforts of signal corps personnel.

Thus, I extend my respect and gratitude to everyone involved in this vital task within the GUR and other security and defense forces of Ukraine – to each individual who builds, maintains, and protects the intricate communication systems that ensure military command and allow us to confront Russian occupiers effectively.

Communication in war is like a circulatory system: it facilitates the flow of critically important data, literally saving the lives of our soldiers.

This is why one of the first tasks for units entering a new sector is to establish reliable communication. No communication means no operation.

Ukrainian signal troops uphold their word and signal whether we are on the defensive or offensive, evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, or moving by sea, air, or land to eliminate enemy forces and their military assets.

Honor and glory to Ukrainian signal troops! Respect to all who have fallen defending Ukraine in the war against Russia.
