The "Lybidska" station on the capital's metro system has been temporarily closed for passengers due to a suspicious object.

This was reported by the Kyiv Metro via Telegram.

"A suspicious object was found at the metro station "Lybidska". For safety reasons, the station is temporarily closed for incoming and outgoing passengers"

Trains are passing by the "Lybidska" station without stopping.

Explosive experts have been called to the scene.
