In Kyiv, restrictions on heavy vehicle traffic will be enforced for several days due to the heat wave.

This was announced by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The restrictions will be in place from July 25 to 28 to protect road surfaces in the city. Vehicles weighing over 24 tons and with an axle load exceeding 7 tons will not be allowed to operate.

According to the patrol police, trucks are prohibited from moving when air temperatures reach 28° or higher.

«The duration of the restrictions will be adjusted according to the temperature conditions», — states the message from the City Administration.
