In Kyiv, as the hot weather sets in, new water sprayer frames are being installed to help residents cool off while walking around the city.
This was announced by the acting director of the Environmental Protection and Climate Change Adaptation Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, Serhiy Saburov.
"Our district municipal enterprises prepare for the heat every year and gradually increase the number of such frames so that residents and guests of the capital can refresh themselves outdoors. We aim to make Kyiv comfortable even on the hottest days," he stated.
The frames are produced by the staff of municipal enterprises responsible for maintaining green spaces. This year, they plan to install them at 31 locations.
The Kyivzelenbud and district municipal services encourage the public to use the frames responsibly.
