In Kyiv, during the firefighting efforts, three individuals were successfully rescued.

Reports of the fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district came in today, June 29, at 1:11 PM.

The fire occurred in a five-story building on Danila Shcherbakivskyi Street, in an apartment on the first floor.

«The fire, covering an area of 8 sq. m, was extinguished by 1:45 PM. During the firefighting and search operation, due to heavy smoke, rescuers brought three individuals to safety», — stated the SES report.

Authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.
